Congratulations to Mikhail Slipchenko, who delivered an award lecture on “Probing Complex Flows with a Burst in Time: Innovations and Maturation of the Burst-Mode Laser” for the Aerodynamic Measurement Technology Committee at the AIAA Scitech Forum and Exposition on January 25, 2023. The lecture was in acceptance of the 2023 Aerodynamic Measurement Technology Innovation Award from the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics for "advancement and commercialization of pulse-burst laser technology, innovations in high-speed laser diagnostics, and applications in hypersonic ground test facilities" on behalf of his co-winners: Sukesh Roy, Terrence Meyer, Jason Mance, Naibo Jiang, and Paul Hsu.
